Do you know that one thing, that we all want it, we all crave it and we all strive for it?
Yes… that is happiness.
There’s so much struggle, hardships, and pain that we all go through only to find a moment of happiness.
But, there is a man who is said to have decoded all the secrets of happiness.
Matthieu is a molecular biologist who turned into a Buddhist monk.
He believes that Happiness is a skill and skills must be learned.
“If you can learn to ride a bike then you can definitely learn to be happy” -says Matthieu.
However, the happiest man in the world urges us to realize one thing that ‘happiness resides right here, within us. But we had to find a way to free and nurture it.’
Have you ever heard of this statement?
Happiness is the meaning and purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence. –Aristotle
I think we can all agree that this statement is so true.
In fact, various research has proved that happy people are less likely to get various diseases like heart diseases, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, depression, and various other mental illnesses.
But, one thing you have to realize is that Matthieu Ricard or any other happy monk has been living in a monastery for decades, where they have no pressure of job, family, relationships, paying bills, and certainly they don’t have to worry about pleasing their partners in bed.
These monks meditate in various hilltops or in the monastery where the surroundings are very peaceful and serene. There is no wonder why these people are able to achieve a peak state of mind and a deep sense of contentment and happiness.
For most of us, it is not possible to go to the top of the Himalayas and meditate there for the rest of our lives to have a healthy mind.
The harsh truth is that we have to live in the hustle and bustle of our daily lives we are living in.
So, is there a way by which you can have a calm, happy, and active mind which is devoid of many kinds of stress and anxiety and sleeps like a log at night without consuming any prescribed drugs?
Well, the answer is yes…
You see, unlike any other drugs or treatment, CBD works to alleviate symptoms of anxiety and stress by binding to the receptors within the Endocannabinoid system.
The Endocannabinoid system is the one responsible for maintaining various functions of the body like sleep, mood, reproduction, and appetite.
Various research suggests that CBD may naturally affect various hormones in our bodies like serotonin, dopamine, anandamide levels stabilizing our mood, feelings of well-being, and happiness.
Research also suggests that CBD may help in repairing the wear and tear in the brain that is caused by constant stress and anxiety that your brain has been dealing with for years now.
See, the truth is that CBD is in the early stage of research and nobody knows how exactly CBD works so safely to reduce stress and anxiety.
But, we all know one thing that it is safe (announced by the WHO) and it works, it works like magic because numerous people have reported that CBD other than reducing stress and anxiety it also helps in various other aspects of life like:
Today, CBD is being used by executives, professionals, and students from all fields to concentrate better and get their tasks done with more energy throughout the day.
To fall asleep, our nervous system has to calm down and that’s what CBD does. CBD is a master regulator, helping our central nervous system to rest and calm the wild running thoughts to help you have sleep that you haven't had in a long time.
Anxiety and stress limits a person's sexual arousal and libido (especially women), making them even more stressed and unsatisfied, and this is where CBD comes to the rescue. CBD not only helps you calm from deep within, but it can also help to provide a deeper emotional connection with your partner by affecting neurotransmitters like anandamide. (Anandamide is also known as the “bliss molecule”).
The bottom line is that deep down inside you know that a fabulous sex life, good sleep, and having a calm, active, and peaceful mind are the foundation of a deep-satisfying and happy existence.
So, don’t let stress and anxiety ruin your life and take away your happiness.
